Billy thought he might have better luck with Simon if he poured some cold water on his face. That woke him up.
"What are you doing?" Simon was quite irate.
"Its time to get up, mate." Billy winced.
"What on earth for? New years day is a time to reflect and rest." Simon seemed to have picked right up where perhaps a conversation had ended.
"Well, do it with your clothes on, all right?" Billy smirked.
Simon looked for something so not to expose himself.
"Maybe you'll feel better if you've had a shower."
"You don't remember?" Billy looked at him wide eyed.
"No, I really don't."
Billy shook his head. "How much did you have to drink? I remember everything." Billy was proud of the fact.
"I don't remember," Simon squinted with a headache. "Tell me?"
"I don't rightly know, mate." Billy shrugged. "But that slapper you'd soon not have a thing to do with was right here with you, man." Billy almost laughed.
"Afraid so." Billy couldn't help but let a bit of a laugh slip.
Simon jerked the blanket from the floor up around him then and went off to the bathroom.
"Where's Josh?" He yelled back.
"Your guess is as good as mine." That was the only answer Billy could give him.
